What are the benefits of blogging for students?
There are a number of benefits to using blogs in your classroom. First, while some teachers like to shy away from blogs, the reality is that our students either frequently visit or read blogs already. In some cases students may have their very own blog already. Secondly, being able to communicate using technology is an important aspect of preparing our students to be career ready. Also, blogging is a valuable tool to demonstrate to your students the power of clear and concise language. Blogging can be used as a discussion tool, for project based learning, and for informative writing.
